SOT
The SOT Method
One process, four steps.
Most traders lose because they enter before confirmation. The method is deliberately boring: it removes decisions you would otherwise make under pressure.
Find the level
Support and resistance are price levels acting as barriers. Mark them on the timeframe you actually trade — not every line you can draw.
Chapter 2Wait for confirmation
SSR confirms sells at resistance, SRR confirms buys at support. Both require a completed pattern — no pattern means no trade.
Chapter 5Define the risk
Entry, stop, exit and the timeframe you will monitor are written before the trade. If it cannot be written, it is not a plan.
Plan firstHandle the breakout
Markets do not always respect a level. SBR and RBS describe what happens when support breaks into resistance — and the reverse.
Chapter 6Protect the entry
Once price moves in favour, the stop moves to breakeven. The goal is not more trades — it is removing risk from the one you have.

Reading the market
Four patterns. One language.
The method teaches a small set of patterns properly instead of sampling dozens badly. Each one answers a specific question.

Plan every trade in writing — entry, exit, stop-loss and the timeframe you will monitor. Base it on what you see, not what you predict.
Know your conditions
A level is not a guarantee.
Gold behaves differently in a trend and in a range. The same pattern that works in one condition fails in the other — which is why position and context matter as much as the setup.

Do I need indicators to follow the method?
No. Everything is read from price action, support and resistance levels, and completed patterns on the timeframe you trade. The method is deliberately built without indicator dependency.
Which instrument is this written for?
Gold — XAUUSD. The pattern logic applies to other instruments, but the examples, pip counting and session timing in the material are specific to gold scalping.
How many setups should I learn first?
One or two. Mastering a single setup before adding another is the stated approach — trying to trade every pattern at once is what causes most early losses.
Is news trading part of this?
The US session timing is central to gold. Trading news is covered, but it is genuinely high risk — the material treats it as an advanced topic, not a shortcut.
